On the occasion of the World Industrial Design Day celebrated around the world every year, in 2013 the Hungarian Design Council invites Tomek Rygalik, designer of international reputation to give a presentation that is also the preliminary event of Budapest Design Week.

Tomek Rygalik has been working together with his wife, Gosia Rygalik, designer since 2009 at Studio Rygalik that was founded by him.
Originally studying industrial design in New York, then graduating from the Royal College of Art, London, the Polish designer has worked for brands like Moroso, Corian, Ideal Standard, Heal's, Noti, or the leading Polish furniture brand Comforty; he was the first Polish teacher at the Royal College of Art in London, and presently he teaches industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
