Record of subsequent changes

If the formal requirements are met the International Bureau shall record the changes in the name and address of the right-holder, partial or whole assignment of the trademark, partial or whole termination of the protection in respect of one or more countries, and any other changes which can be recorded according to the Common Regulations (e.g. licence of use) in the International Register. The changes which may not be recorded according to the Common Regulations but their recording is mandatory according to the Hungarian Trademark Act are recorded by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office in the Supplementary Register attached to the International Register (e.g. termination of the protection with retroactive effect).
