How to obtain trademark protection abroad?
By filing
- a trademark application to the national intellectual property offices of the relevant country and,
- an international trademark application on the basis of the Madrid Protocol to the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office which will be forwarded to the Word Intellectual Property Organization; or
- a so-called Euroepan Union Trademark (EUTM) application to the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante, Spain.
The Hungarian Intellectual Property Office forwards the international trademark applications of the Hungarian applicants.
