BEDA (Bureau of European Design Associations) held its membership meetingin Saint-Étienne on 9 March.

At the European design organisation's annual general assembly the membership elected its Board of Directors for the term 2012-2014, ratified four new members, and launched an important toolbox on its website to help designers. As an expression of its continued recognition of the Hungarian Design Council's international role, BEDA elected Szonja Szesztai of the Office of HDC into its biannually renewed board, thus further strengthening Hungary's role in the region.
