Obtaining National Rights
If the day of application the European patent application has been acknowledged by the European Patent Office, the application has to be regarded as a patent application filed on the same date with the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, by retaining the priority claimed with the European patent application in connection.
The provisional protection conferred during the proceedings before the European Patent Office becomes effective in Hungary after the publication of the Hungarian translation of claims in the official journal of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office.
The European patent becomes effective in Hungary after filing its translation complying with the conditions laid down by law.
