Successful conference on Intellectual Property and Innovation took place in the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office Budapest, 3-4 April 2012

A successful conference, entitled Intellectual Property and Innovation took place in the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO), co-organised by HIPO and the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), on 3-4 April 2012.

The two-day conference featured distinguished speakers from the US national office and the HIPO, as well as from the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) or LES Hungary and Hungarian innovative enterprises.

The first day of the conference covered the topics of patent and trade mark protection in the US and Hungary, licensing and assignment and worksharing between national offices. The morning of the second day was devoted to topics of special interest, like that of the US patent reform or the green technology pilot and fast track patent processing in the USPTO. The afternoon sessions offered discussion opportunities with brilliant inventors and CEOs of Hungarian innovative SMEs applying leading edge technology.
